I began my visual journal practice in 2014 to visually capture as many memories as possible. Unexpectedly, the ever growing stack of memories began to reveal themes that proved to be life changing - informing the decision to move from Boston to the Blue Ridge Mountains and encouraging brave shifts within my art practice.

2014 - 2020 off and on
I worked on this series until 2020 when there were no visually interesting memories to capture due to quarantine. This conundrum pushed me to create my Sculptural Paintings - abstract collages of these file cards representing a much slower passage of time and broader subject matter.
